Accountemps is looking for Payroll Specialist candidates who know how to effectively problem solve, and possess a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software. This role will be responsible for performing all functions necessary for the preparation and processing of employee payroll. Key responsibilities - Managing payroll information by keeping proper records for collecting, calculating, and entering data - Handle other duties as necessary - Able to reconcile employee deductions and other liabilities - Handle specific weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for department heads - Secure confidential payroll operation information and maintain employee confidence - Maintain all updates of payroll records by tracking changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers - Offer assistance with internal and external audits related to payroll - Review source documents with necessary verification - Report needed changes after maintaining payroll operations according to established policies and procedures - Answer questions and requests related to payroll information - Certify compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines - Produce reports after compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages - Resolving payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information For immediate consideration, send an updated resume to Click Here to Email Your Resum?
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and solid financial acumen - Relevant experience should include 2+ years in payroll - Prior experience working with high volume multi-state payroll, billing, licensing, AP, etc. - Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills - Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data - Multi-state payroll experience required - Proficiency in payroll for over 500 employees - Understanding of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements - Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes - Knowledge of internal controls - Meet and uphold Certified Payroll Professional criteria - Experience using accounting software For immediate consideration, send an updated resume to Click Here to Email Your Resum?

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
