Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and screen incoming phone calls sent directly to operator
  • Maintain Outlook calendar, noting who is in and out of the office
  • Sort and distribute important packages, deliveries, or messages to appropriate staff
  • Responsible for managing sample deliveries though UPS
  • Enter time cards into database daily
  • Prepare paychecks for disbursement
  • Create and run weekly payroll reports
  • Reconciling of invoices and company credit cards
  • Maintain office supplies through checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items
  • Entering daily work orders into database and maintaining production schedule weekly
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalency required
  • 1-2 years general administrative experience
  • Experience using Sage300 (Timberline) a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Reliable and meets all required deadlines
  • Self-starter who is able to take initiative to drive results with minimal supervision
  • Works efficiently both independently and as a member of a larger team
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
