QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Required: Master?s Degree
Grandfathered Qualification: Bachelor?s degree in APTA Program if licensed before December 31, 1990
Preferred: Doctor of Physical Therapy
LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: Massachusetts Physical Therapy License
As part of the Inpatient Rehabilitative Services team, the Inpatient Physical Therapist:
+ Performs and documents an initial examination, evaluating the data to identify problems to determine a working treatment plan prior to implementing interventions.
+ Plans, prepares and carries out individually designed treatment plan to improve or restore function, alleviate pain and enhance patient outcomes.
+ Re-evaluates the effectiveness of treatment on an on going basis adjusting treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
+ Communicates with patients and medical practitioners regarding outcomes and expectations during the course of patient care
+ Records prognosis, treatment, response and progress in electronic medical record and provides referral source with proper updates and discharge reports.
+ As a member of the multidisciplinary patient care team, communicates clearly to physicians, allied health professional, nursing and Case Managers as well as patients and their families.
+ Participates in discharge planning when requested to optimize the patient?s long term outcome.
+ Participates in staff meetings and becomes involved in ways to improve the department.
+ Participates in community activities to enhance awareness of Winchester Hospital and rehabilitation services.
+ Transfers patient with appropriate assistive device to minimize risk to patient and therapist.
+ Responds to supply/equipment issues in a timely manner to ensure availability of equipment and to maximize its useful life.
Shift
Per diem as need by department, M-F 7AM-3:30PM with one weekend day per schedule 7AM-3:30PM

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
