The Position
We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage all software, hardware and networks related to our web hosting business. Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly. Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly, efficiently and securely.
Maintain, administer, and upgrade IT infrastructure including:
Server infrastructure: MS Windows Server 2012-2016, MS SQL 2012-2016, IIS experience is very important, OpenVPN Access server configuration, Active Directory basics, Hyper-V virtualization, Linux experience a plus
Network infrastructure: Firewall rule based filtering, Routing, NAT, VPN
Manage disaster recovery plan: File Backups/Restores, Database Backups/Restores, Test environment, redundancy planning
Administer cloud infrastructure: Amazon AWS (VPC, EC2, S3, etc.)
Manage, monitor, and implement security best practices across all devices, networks, and domains
Help train development staff on new technologies
Improve internal documentation with technical details, manuals and IT policies
Location Candidates living in the Greater Boston area are preferred as this position will primarily reside in our Winchester, MA office. However, consideration for other locations will be considered on a case by case basis.
Minimum qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role
Experience with IIS, MS SQL databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness, curiosity and a problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA,MCSE) and/or Amazon AWS) is a plus

Salary All of Fuseideas salary ranges are commensurate upon experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
