The Position
We are seeking a VP of Business Development to join our fast-growing agency. This person will focus on establishing a stand-alone new business development department and a process approach to evaluating leads and answering RFP's. The right candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, a proven track record of sales excellence, ability to meet/exceed quotas, and take the business to the next level. The job will also require creating a comprehensive internal and external marketing plan the would increase revenue and profits. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, and a creative team player, who has a solid understanding of all marketing channels, particularly within the digital space. We need someone that can be very hands-on, do whatever it takes to build revenue, and be a strategic thinker with the ability to create long-term sales plans and execute on them for our prospects.
Set, meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing team's sales opportunities in new accounts.
Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move clients simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
Practice effective, excellent communication with direct reports, management, and agency staff
Provide feedback and input around new marketing and lead generation programs.
Provide requirements to management, and other departments to ensure that the sales team has the up-to-date information it needs to be successful.
Keep abreast of the industry, market, competition, competitive issues and new trends.
Select a marketing automation platform to utilize for increase lead flow and introduce some automation to the new business team
Create a content plan that will allow the agency to produce unique and cutting-edge content
Location Candidates living in the Greater Boston area are preferred as this position will primarily reside in our Winchester, MA office. However, consideration for other locations will be considered on a case by case basis.
Minimum qualifications to be successful in this role:
6-9 years of digital marketing sales with experience in managing teams
Exceptional leadership skills: ability to play all the leadership roles such as coach, mentor, trainer and supervisor.
Strong management, organizational and decision-making skills are critical.
Ability to strategize and set department, team and individual goals
Strong track record at building strategies around generating leads and qualifying the needs of those prospects
Must be articulate with strong writing and presentation skills.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities.
Very strong work ethic with "can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out" attitude.

Salary All of Fuseideas salary ranges are commensurate upon experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
